Here is a picture of me and my girlfriend recently took at one of our friend’s wedding. As you can see, we chose to match my tie with her dress. Looks pretty awesome 🙂 I was amazed at how vibrant the pink looked in the picture so of course,  I decided to play around with it in Photoshop

 

 

Whenever you have a very bright and vibrant color in a photo, you can easily alter the hue of that color using a simple adjustment tool in Photoshop. In literary just about 3 minutes, I Photoshoped these altered pictures:

 

 

 

 

Just as easy as you can change the color, you can also remove the color by dropping the saturation level to 0 and drop the lightness.

 

 

It’s really simple, all you have to do is make an Hue/Saturation Adjustment layer and then mask out the color you want to change. Then just slide the hue levels, saturation levels and lighttness levels until you like the results.
